Young Adults

Republic comes from the Latin word "Res Publica" which means "a public thing". In other words, for everyone. No matter who you are or where you're at, everyone is welcome... we're building community together.

MISSION STATEMENT
"The Republic exists to awaken or re-awaken the spiritual hunger in young adults. To give opportunities to serve and be served in context of New Testament community."

Join other young adults for an evening of authentic worship and relevant teaching. Then hang out with us afterwards for copious amounts of caffeine, food and various forms of entertainment. It's a coffee-house and scriptural teaching and discussion venue all rolled into one. We call it The Republic and it's the place to be!

The Republic meets off campus at the Chainsaw Saloon in uptown Waterloo from September to May.
